Waimes est connue comme destination nature à travers ses randonnées pédestres, le ski, le canotage, le Centre nature de Botrange ou encore pour le château de Reinhardstein.


Waimes devient une destination gastronomique émergente. Elle s'appuie à la fois sur ses nouveaux produits et producteurs et sa communauté gastronomique locale.


Waimes a vu éclore de nouveaux produits sur son territpoire comme la "Truite d'ondeval", le fromage le "Valèt", la valorisation de la "RougePie de l'Est", race bovine menacée.


Sa communauté gastronomique est riche et a vu l'attribution par le Guide Michelin d'une étoile à un restaurant locale (La Menuiserie). Dans une carte, Waimes a réuni l'ensemble de sa richesse et sa diversité gastronomique.
