Discover a glimpse of what south-eastern Europe does best: music, theatre, cinema, workshops, entertainment, etc. At the BOZAR from 14 to 17/04/16.
This festival is a unique mixture of music from Macedonia, cinema from the Balkans, Sufi songs from Bosnia and Sephardic songs from Serbia, Greek rebetiko music, Albanian clarinets, not forgetting the undeniable Serbian brass bands and the DJ sets!
It's a festive event, a cross between a popular festival and a bazaar. Balkan Trafik is four days of celebration and exchange which transform the BOZAR into a giant bazaar. It's a celebration!
The festival mixes all the communities present in Brussels, which have come to appreciate their rich culture along with the BOZAR's usual visitors.
Programme
We are happy to announce that film maker Emir Kusturica will headline the festival, presenting one of his films and delivering a masterclass.
Balkan Trafik! will be even more festive and convivial this year as it is celebrating its 10th anniversary. The unique atmosphere of this festival will be present every night in every room of the BOZAR!
