Description:

The Bois-du-Luc is mining site listed as exceptional Walloon heritage and includes more than 300 years of labour and life around the coalmine.
By means of the story of the workers Florent and Victorine, you will explore the entire mine from the depths of the earth up to the top of the slagheaps.
In the offices and the workshops you'll see the different professions related to mining: managers, engineers, employees, workers and craftsmen.
In the shafts, in a dark and hostile subterranean universe you'll see the city guarded by the manager. After work, you immerse yourself in the joy and sorrow of the life at the time of the miners.
Lots of stories tell you everything about the mine: workers' struggle, labour conditions, leisure, family life…
