Walks and ecotourism in Brussels


Brussels offers remarkable possibilities for walks such as the Green Walk, the Sonian Forest (which covers close to 5000 hectares) an ever-expanding network of cycle routes and the trails of the Grande Randonnée, a multitude of parks, etc.


LA PROMENADE VERTE

The Brussels region is litterally encircled by a 63km green ring of marked trails which can be travelled on foot or by bike and is easily reached by public transport (metro, tram…).

This bucolic tour takes you through parks and forests, to little lost corners of the countryside, hidden in the city, around lakes and through groves and marshes.

The guided bike tours, offered by the Pro Velo association, are a great way to discover Brussels and its green spaces.
