Fine example of Meuse Renaissance style building dating back to the 16th century. The Jehay Castle houses splendid collections of furniture, silver and gold plate, lace, china, tapestry, books, silver, paintings and sculptures. The remarkable residence has a wonderful chequered façade, a mixture of white and grey stones, unique in Europe.
The bridge crossing the moats, takes you into the wonderful gardens including paths, arbours and fountains; next to the big lane with waterfalls and nymphs, works of art by Count van den Steen. An absolute must!
